Downtown One is a mixed-use building including apartments, modern offices and a contemporary commercial area. DTO has over 40 stories, 5 underground parking floors, 200 apartments and offers a variety of services and facilities. Downtown One is the very first building in Albania to have been awarded a LEED® Pre-certification on the Gold level by the U.S. Green Building Council. Downtown One is designed to display multiple green features like high-efficiency HVAC and lighting system, good thermal insulation, above-average volumes of fresh air for the occupants. The project aims also to prevent water use by optimizing flow, and cooling towers cycles.

Project description

Daikin water loop solution for high rise residential buildings (integrated solutions for collective housing) • Central water loop distributes low grade heat around the building • Reversible air-to-water heat pump maintains the central water loop between +10°C a/ +30°C • Water source Daikin Altherma upgrades heat in each apartment • Any type of emitters can be connected to Daikin Altherma 3 WS VRV W water source heat pump solutions for offices and commercial spaces
